What Had happened at Grace this week.
Jeremiah being thrown into the muddy cistern shows us why Jesus losing on the cross is the greatest news for our fragile "jars of clay."
The President’s Equip Conference is the Florida-Georgia region's premier event for bringing church leaders together.
Bible study on October 7, 2026 explored Mark 9–10, contrasting the disciples’ pride with Jesus’ servant-king mission, and tracing themes of healing, humility, unity, radical holiness, and the call to follow.
When life falls apart, our first instinct is to try and fix it ourselves. But in the midst of our deepest exile, God speaks a better word: "I will."
We all have days we’ll never forget; when the phone rang, the diagnosis came, and everything fell apart. Jeremiah 25, points to a day of infamy just like this. But also in Gethsemane, Jesus steps right into the middle of our darkest moments to offer us a hope that nothing can uproot.
A lively Bible study traced Mark’s unfolding revelation of Jesus—from John’s beheading and the feeding signs through Peter’s confession and the Transfiguration to prayerful dependence—highlighting Jewish and Gentile symbolism, numbers (5, 7, 12, 4), the Son of Man/Son of God themes, and the call to faith, humility, and cross-shaped discipleship.
It’s incredibly easy to look at the world, point fingers, and feel secure just because we are the righteous. Jeremiah 7 shows us how God wants to uproot our pride and plant His grace.
This year was another great success, providing so many children with the bags and supplies they need for the new school year.

Insiders - Heavenly Armor
“Be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might.” The Lord has brought us into His unity, and now we put on His strength and His armor to not fight in flesh and blood but against all forms of evil which desire to divide.
“Paul is encouraging us, saying through Jesus, the promise of Abraham, has come true, that those who were once outsiders are now insiders; those who were lost are now found. “A plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth.” Ephesians 1:10 ”

Insiders - Submit Humbly to One Another
“Submit humbly to one another out of reverence for Christ.” With all the language we as modern Christians have gotten stuck on in the Bible, Paul’s “submit” has to be at the top. However, we understand this as mutually serving each other.

Insiders - Awake
We no longer emulate the ways of the Gentiles, put aside all of our dark ways. The things we do and think and say which we hope never sees the light of day. The empty words we listen, telling us stay asleep, stay in the dark. The Light of the world has come and we all sing in unity “Awake Oh Sleeper, Arise from the dead, Christ will shine on you.”

Paul sits in prison and has told the church of all the amazing things which God has done to bring us all together. Now he switches gears and tells us how we can make an effort to maintain the unity in the Spirit.

Paul sits in prison. He is happily sitting in chains because he openly welcomed the outsider Ephesians inside. The question for us: how would we react if he was to bring the outsiders into our midst?

Insiders - The Temple God Builds
We love the grace of God. But what does grace actually mean? It means that no matter the names we call people or the barriers we put up between them, God saves them and us by his action.

Insiders - No Racing In A Museum
We love to see classic cars, to look at old race cars or marvel at our car from our youth sitting in the garage. But those machines were not built to just be looked at. They were built to be set free on a track to race the day away.

Teach us to Pray - Yours is the Kingdom, Power, and the Glory
What does this mean? This means that I should be certain that these petitions are pleasing to our Father in heaven, and are heard by Him; for He Himself has commanded us to pray in this way and has promised to hear us. Amen, amen means “yes, yes, it shall be so.”
