It seems like the church just wants doers, people who will do things for God, which is good, but we also need to be people who abide with the creator, who sit in sabbath knowing God does enough for us.

We closed out our final Bible Club of the year on Wednesday, and wow... what an amazing year it has been!

It was a wonderful week for the kids! They engaged their senses with a blindfolded smell-guessing activity and expanded their palates by sampling mangoes for their tropical fruit feature. They also learned about the story of Paul’s conversion on the road to Damascus.

Psalm 1 provides a blueprint for spiritual life, and helps us see how Jesus grew into His Messianic role. Psalm 2 broadens from individual growth to God's MESSIANIC PLAN for the world and takes in the entire sweep of history. This Sunday we are in an Advent state of mind. Next Sunday we celebrate Christmas in July through the eyes of the Magi.
