Dublin the Fun (Photos)
We had more than Dublin the Fun!
What an incredible time we had at "Dublin the Fun"! My heart is still so full from seeing everyone. The day was packed with laughs, starting with that super fun bounce house that was a hit all day long. And the food! We had so many baked potatoes and other yummy treats. I even spotted some Irish coffee creamer by the coffee station, lol!
We really went all out with the games, and they were such a blast. A huge congrats again to Pam for winning the Pot of Gold challenge! Watching everyone compete in Hot Potato and especially the 3-Legged Race (where there may have been some creative carrying involved) was hilarious. We even got a little help from the weather when the clouds came out right at 5 PM to give us some needed shade.
But honestly, what made me the happiest was just seeing everyone together, enjoying each other’s company. Watching old friends catch up and new friendships start, that’s how we live as the body of Christ together. A massive thanks to everyone who helped organize and to everyone who came out to make "Dublin the Fun" so special!
Thanks For Tons of Fun and Guys Night Photos
Guys night photos and Big Thinks to those who started Tons of Fun.
On January 29th, the Tons of Fun crew gathered at Tutto Fresco in St. Lucie West for a special reason: to say a massive "thank you" to Chuck, Joyce, and the original team who brought this vision to life at Grace.
How it Started
Tons of Fun kicked off in the summer of 2022. The goal was simple: create a space for those of us without local family to get together and enjoy some company. We originally expected a small group of maybe 30 or 40 people. Instead, about 100 people showed up to that first event!
More Than Just a Social Club
That first gathering sparked a streak of incredible events that did more than just give us something to do—it helped define who we are as a church. It reminded us of three core truths:
Being together is vital.
Having fun is essential.
Living in the resurrection is at the heart of everything we do.
A Lasting Legacy
We want to honor the pioneers who saw the need and met it. Thank you, Chuck and Joyce, and the original team—Cheryl, Leigh, Cindy, and Bebe (and anyone else we may have missed!).
Tons of Fun was never intended to be a "big deal," yet its success has become a blueprint for our church. Other groups are now following its lead, successfully bringing both our members and our wider community closer together.
Thanks to everyone who has come to these events, for we have lived as the Body of Christ together.
Guys Night on Ladies Night!?
On February 5th, thirteen guys from Grace headed over to the new location of My Brother’s BBQ.
The move clearly didn't hurt the kitchen—the food was fantastic, though the conversations around the table were even better. We also didn't let the fact that it happened to be "Ladies Night" slow us down one bit; if anything, it just added to the atmosphere!
It was another great night of food and fellowship in the books.
